Connections in Social Development/Human Services
The Peace at Home Project: Using evidence based and animal assisted therapies (with emphasis on equine therapy), families break multi-generational patterns of trauma with evidenced based therapeutic models. Psycho-social development is grounded in awareness of self, others and the environment plus predictability which leads to trust. Working with them to address the personal skills of self-worth and social deficits. This program is designed to assist our veterans when they come home.
