Youth In Action

Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them. –  Lady Bird Johnson

Child well-being is about providing the best life for children, no matter where they live.  They deserve to have their basic needs met. They must also have a guarantee that their families and community will provide them with opportunities, resources and social supports needed to reach their fullest potential.

The way we think about our self, including our beliefs and expectations about what is possible, determines what happens to us. Failing brings character, don’t let it stop you from continuing.

Make your life a masterpiece; imagine no limitations on what you can be, have or do. Brian Tracy

Youth ages 10-16 come together to talk about what is happening in their life. Projects and skills are discussed to address areas of concern like bullying, school performance, and self-harm. Confidential unless harm to self or others. Speakers bring expertise on topics that surround goals for the future and importance of education.

  • Actively listen to our youth
  • Giving them a voice that is heard
  • Assisting them to do well in school and find their niche in society
  • Creating ambassadors against bullying
  • Empowering them to be leaders
  • Build teamwork
