Three Rivers of the Southern Crescent; Kinship cares/Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Monthly support group that brings community connections for support and education to what is available to this growing family dynamic. Tutoring and mentoring for the grandchildren they are raising.

Addressing the food needy in our elderly community, Healthways is designed through the TRAAA Hunger Coalition.

Connections in Social Development/Human Services

The Peace at Home Project: Using evidence based and animal assisted therapies (with emphasis on equine therapy), families break multi-generational patterns of trauma with evidenced based therapeutic models. Psycho-social development is grounded in awareness of self, others and the environment plus predictability which leads to trust. Working with them to address the personal skills of self-worth and social deficits.  This program is designed to assist our veterans when they come home.  Guitars Not Guns: Newnan Police Department; addressing the importance of using music through a guitar to address violence. We partner with them to teach the youth we work with the importance of police officers as friends and decreasing violence in our youth. www.guitarsnotguns.org
