Youth Against Bullying

“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”

– Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

The  “Uniquely You” Campaign-Stand Up and Stop Bullying
No one has the right to make you feel different. Working together each one can make a difference.
Inspire to make a difference by working in the following areas:

  • Bullying: Who bullies and why? Explore cause and effect and stand up to end bullying.
  • Education:  As a tutor/mentor we can make a difference in school drop-out.
  • The National Facts about Drugs: Trends in Teen Drug and Alcohol use. Peer pressure or pattern in a family?

Topics of Concern

Bullying

Who bullies and why? Effects of being bullied; victimized and prevention.

Self – Worth

Why do we see a rise in the diagnosis of depression in preteens and teens, self-harm (cutting, suicide), eating disorders. Know your self-worth.

Stepping Up

Overcoming the downfalls that comes along with being a teenager. Stepping up and realizing we have responsibilities as we are the leaders of tomorrow.
